Bio
Ronen Azulay is an Israeli-born artist, living and working in New York City since 1996. Informed by his early career as a men’s fashion designer, Ronen’s work examines the role of the consumer in our world of mad mass production.
Actively disrupting the relentless cycle of manufacture and consumption, Ronen repurposes cast-off denim and other textiles from prominent fashion designers. With his seamstress skills and informed eye, he further processes and repurposes the fabrics and incorporates found objects to create new medium for his art.
