Mixed media on repurposed leather and denim, incorporating other textiles

A new approach, yet a continuation of my ongoing exploration of the relationship between body and soul. In this piece, part of the PULSE series, I focus on specific points in my body, allowing awareness and the subconscious to meet and inform the process.
Here, I channel the connection between head and hand through linear and diagonal movements, creating energetic tensions, almost like fields between the positive and negative. The gestures move upward, toward a sense of optimism.
The layered textiles, combined with repurposed leather, reflect the dynamic tension between the physical and the spiritual. These materials carry their own history, which I incorporate to echo that internal dialogue and continuity.
