EMBODIMENT

2025

Mixed media on repurposed leather and denim incorporating other textiles.

36”X60”

Creating this piece, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment. Each layer represents not only the sharpening of my artistic skills, but also a deeper exploration into realms I never imagined I was capable of reaching. It's not often that I step back and allow myself to feel real pride, but with this work, I do. It reflects years of practice, growth, and the willingness to continually push my own boundaries.

Part of a new series, Embodiment speaks to personal experience and a spiritual commitment to a new daily gesture I’ve adopted: slowing down. It’s about attuning to the subtle yet profound rhythms of my body—mentally and physically. This quiet symphony, so often overlooked, has become a grounding force in both my life and my creative process.
