In this new piece I'm continuing to transform scraps of denim into geometric shapes, sewing them together and emphasizing the stitches and selvedge edges that become outlines — a roadmap to my reconstructed canvas. On this map/canvas I then manipulate it with several different techniques both adding and extracting layers of color. The result is this unique composition rich in texture, shape and color.
