The motivation behind this new piece is to weave together a narrative derived from my creative instincts combined with vivid images imprinted in my brain from historical stories my grandparents told me as a child.

Upon return from a recent trip to Morocco I was able air my old etched memories and give them new life with saturated colors and reimagined shapes. My art is a love letter to them and a celebration of our heritage and legacy.
